Successful Breastfeeding With Breast Malformations

Malformaciones congénitas y adquiridas del seno pueden presentar dificultades para la lactancia materna. Reportamos tres mujeres de origen hindú que experimentaron una lactancia materna exitosa con sus bebes luego de conserjería apropiada a pesar de tener diferentes malformaciones del seno. Una de las madres tenía senos axilares ectópicos bilaterales pero pudo lactar luego de extracción de leche. Las otras dos madres tenían cicatrices de quemaduras en el pecho y senos, con pezón plano en una de ellas, y barrera sicológica en ambas. Ambas madres pudieron lactar con éxito luego de conserjería y ayuda practica.
